This is our purpose grown Italian Ryegrass haylage, READY END OF JULYHaylage is cut and left to dry out in the field, then when the grass is a day away from making normal hay it is rowed up and baled. To start the fermenting process the haylage is then wrapped with 8 layers of plastic film to seal the bale and make it airtight. It is then stored for 6 weeks to make in the bale, it is then ready to be used as a replacement or in conjunction with Hay. It is highly nutritional and doesn't contain any dust and spores.
